Add Burger King to your take-out menu drawer. The Burtonsville branch of the fast-food chain, located in Burtonsville Crossing at 15703 Columbia Pike, is one of 10 D.C.-area restaurants that began delivery service this month, reports the Washington Post.
Along with Burger Kings in Wheaton, Rockville, Germantown and Leisure World, the Burtonsville location delivers burgers, chicken, fries and bottled drinks to the immediate vicinity. Minimum purchase is $8 and you can't order fountain drinks, shakes, coffee or breakfast food. (Delivery doesn't begin until 11 a.m. It ends at 10 p.m.)
According to the company website, delivery will eventually expand to 16 stores by the end of January, but a representative for the company did not confirm if it will be offered to all stores eventually.
